Sometimes even small gestures can make someone's life feel better - like random acts of kindness. We all need to feel connected.
We can feel overwhelmed by all the challenges that increasingly surround us in today's world. It can seem as though we're powerless. But we're not. We can encourage one another with seemingly-small gestures like sending a card, or a text message at the right moment; letting people know we care about them - spontaneously doing something thoughtful and selfless. Small acts can prove to be really significant. On this site, and our sister site tewu ('the essence within u') - sharing relaxations, meditations and to enhance individuals' lives - our aim is to promote a message of hope and positivity, a sense of encouragement and motivation to carry on. As we care for ourselves and one another, we can pay forward the belief that together we can help shape a brighter future.
If one person has more hope and feels encouraged because of this site, then "It's all good".

Having spent years being an encourager, helping individuals from all walks of life, I've always wanted to spread encouragement out into the big world in other ways to help give individuals and humanity some hope. Encouraging words, a little humour seen or heard at the right moment, can have an amazing effect on others. Now is as good a time as ever to make this happen.
